Outgrowing Our Shell 🐚
There comes a time when we master and complete a phase on our inner journeys and before we know it, we feel like a snail that's outgrown it's shell.
Maybe we've danced to the beat of everyone's drum our whole lives & now we are beginning to assert ourselves.
Maybe we've been disconnected to our internal rhythm our whole lives, sprinting forward & now we're being called to move at a slower pace.
Maybe we've seen life through a higher perspective in order to download what's necessary from spirit but now we're being called to ground into the present & put what we've learned to the test.
When we master and perfect an area of our life, there comes a time where the pendulum must swing to the other side. This does not mean that we become disconnected to the path we just walked.. it means we take all that we've learned and use it as a tool for the next journey that is now opening up to us.
Every single version of you, that was created to make it through each chapter of your life, holds the most beautiful wisdom. You then used that wisdom as a tool to get you where you are now. If you had stayed on those old paths, there would have been no growth. But you allowed the pendulum to swing to get you to where you are now. But like the seasons we continue to move in cycles.
The tide then changes again & we must follow it to our next journey. Nothing is ever lost, we don't forget what we've learned, we evolve, we grow & once again more beautiful aspects of our souls are revealed.
In a more recent reading I had a similar message explained through the analogy of a plant growing out of its pot. Your roots have made it to the bottom, you've grown as far as you can in the setting you were placed into. The journey is not over, you are being repotted into a pot with more depth for you to grow, which simultaneously means more heights for you to reach.
Don't feel discouraged if you feel like a snail that's outgrown it's shell, it means you've grown into who you were meant to be and accomplished this phase. It's time for a new chapter, you made it.
