Distortion & Darkness πŸŒ‘

When you are here to anchor the light, there will be much darkness that can distort your view of life.

Distortion is all around.

The person who targets your confidence, projects their insecurities onto you & in turn has you forget your worth. The person who triggers your abandonment wounds & aids you to internalise the feeling of emptiness and separation.

I could go on and on, deeper & deeper, as distortion is all around & you will have all have encountered this essence in your time. However, through light, we shine and project onto our darkness, so we can dissect and understand our wounds and pain.

To dissect our dark / distorted parts of ourselves, we must acknowledge and process these cracks in our foundation. This can be painful, as we follow the weed back to the root.

Many revelations will present themselves, it is not a journey of bliss & many do not wish to walk it, this is ok. However, once we make our way around the spiral & get to the root, we realise this distortion and darkness was just an illusion.

We were never separate, we were never not loved, we were never not beautiful, we were never unworthy, we were never lost. Yet, had this darkness not shown us the cracks in our foundation, we would not have been able to patch the cracks together & return to our truth.

We need a balance of the dark and light in order to become whole. We are taught to praise our light attributes. Yet, anything that doesn’t make us feel good, is automatically labelled as β€œbad” or β€œnegative” so we brush them under the rug until the crack becomes destructive & tares down our foundation.

To stop this, We must nurture our wounds & shadow side, with love. Dissect the dark to acknowledge & transmute to light. We can not heal from a wound, if we do not accept that it lives within us first.

How do we know the feeling of true love, if we do not acknowledge & transmute our loneliness?

How do we feel truly connected, without the feeling of disconnect to compare?

How do we know our strength, without acknowledging our fears?

We can not have light without dark, there is both attributes in us all. Do not fear your pain or hurt, it has much to teach you. 🀍
